Increased height roof system – what makes it stand out?

With the safety of your property in mind, we choose from thousands of available options from the very first stages of construction. When making these choices, we are guided not only by the highest quality of materials, but also by their optimal price, enabling the dream of owning your own home to come true.

People aware of climate change often know already at the investment planning stage that it is worth using renewable energy sources – especially photovoltaics – to produce electricity. It cannot be denied that this is an excellent solution that allows both the protection of the natural environment and the reduction of property maintenance costs. Pitched roofs are perfect as surfaces for mounting photovoltaic modules. But what should we do to enjoy the operation of the PV installation for a long time and be sure that we will provide the building with adequate fire protection?

Elevated system – a response to customers needs

Energy5, analyzing the frequency of use of various roof coverings on the market, decided to introduce an elevated system for a roof covered with metal tiles into its offer. The solution is innovative and allows attaching system directly to the roof surface, without the need for major interference in its substructure. The use of self-adhesive EPDM foam to glue the profiles along their entire length guarantees protection against water leakage, ensuring reliable waterproofing. Additionally, the elevated structure translates into better air circulation under the modules, which protects the cables.

The system also stands out when it comes to:

– increased distance of the module from the roof surface,

– reduced number of assembly elements,

– ease and speed of installation,

– attractive purchase price.

The structure, which was presented in the winter of 2024, was awarded the Gold Medal of the Poznań International Fair Group during this year’s GREENPOWER fair.

A step towards a better future

According to the directive of the European Parliament, adopted in spring this year, from 2030 all new facilities should use photovoltaic installations. The aim of this directive is to create zero-emission buildings – their power supply from renewable energy sources will significantly improve our ecosystem. It is worth taking action now that will be beneficial for both the environment and your pocket. Are you interested in placing PV modules on your property?
