However, dynamic regulatory changes and the growing interest in agrivoltaics (Agri-PV) across Europe have made it a natural step to expand our offer with the Agro Tracker, designed specifically for the dual use of agricultural land.
Premiere at Solar Energy Expo 2026
The official premiere of the Energy5 Agro Tracker will take place at stand F3.26 during Solar Energy Expo 2026 in Nadarzyn, from 13 to 15 January 2026.
This marks another milestone in the development of the Energy5 portfolio and reflects the direction in which European energy and agriculture are heading — toward sustainable, efficient, and multifunctional land use.
Agrivoltaics – A Direction Supported by Regulations
In countries such as Italy, Germany, and France, agrivoltaics is not considered a loss of agricultural land, but rather a tool that strengthens farming, supported by dedicated financial and regulatory mechanisms:
- Italy – CAPEX subsidies of up to 40% and long-term support tariffs (approx. 20 years),
- Germany – dedicated auctions for Agri-PV projects,
- France – CAPEX subsidies of up to 25%.
Technical standards in these countries require PV modules to be installed at a minimum height of approximately 2.1–2.2 m above ground, enabling genuine agricultural activity beneath the installation.
